Maison Tirot - Toy Boat - Le Sloop (more colors)

This boat was handcrafted in Maison Triot’s Breton, France workshop using the same know-how, the same techniques, passed down from generation to generation since 1946. The N202 model – known as the Sloop – is a small 21cm sailing boat. This boat is equipped with a sloop rig and cotton sails. A Bermudan sailing boat (with a triangular mainsail attached to the top of the mast) is called a sloop when it carries a single headsail. Historically, sloops were fast and highly maneuverable fishing vessels. This boat will delight young sailors and accompany them on their first maritime adventures, whether in the bath, the lake, or in seaside pools.

Made of Solid Beech Wood, Cotton

To produce high-quality products and maintain complete control over the manufacturing process, Maison Triot carefully select their timber from the outset. It is entirely French wood, chosen directly from standing trees in forests located near their manufacturing workshop.

Robust, it will last you your whole life if you give it the little bit of care it needs. Indeed, wood is a living material that reacts to water. Despite all the care taken in the construction of our boats, it is not recommended to leave them in contact with water for prolonged periods of time. It is important to let your boat dry in the shade and away from excessive heat after each use.
